ASIC MINERS Firmware Installation Guide
The "Miner tools" utility allows you to flash ASICs with stock firmware over the network, configure multiple ASICs running Mskminer firmware, and manage them.
- Download the utility from our website. Direct link to the utility archive: https://packaged.link/static/fw/19/APP_last.zip
- For the utility to work correctly, you must grant it the necessary permissions in Windows on the first launch. It is also recommended to run it in the Chrome browser. In case of issues, try running it as Administrator. Sometimes antivirus software may falsely flag the tool as malicious (they often react aggressively to mining software, even the stock ASIC web interface). Therefore, it’s best to temporarily disable antivirus protection during the flashing process.
- Make sure your ASICs have stock firmware dated earlier than April 2024. If it’s April 2024 or newer, you’ll need to roll back to an older stock version using the stock recovery: https://t.me/asicfw/298640. If you can’t find the right stock recovery for your CPU, contact the admins.
- Ensure the password for accessing the ASIC web interface is the default: root. If not, change it to the default one or specify your custom password in the utility’s corresponding tab.
- Scan the required network range to detect your ASICs, wait for them to boot on stock firmware (this ensures the utility selects the correct firmware version), select the desired devices, and click “Update”. Instructions for the main functions of Miner tools: https://t.me/asicfw/307443
Specifics of Different CPUs
Amlogic: No special requirements, usually the most compatible with the utility.
Xilinx: After updating Xilinx CPU, wait 2–3 minutes for the ASIC to reboot.
Cvitek: Cvitek CPUs require that the utility be running during each reboot, with the “Cvitek” checkbox enabled — it will automatically reflash the CPU to our firmware. All settings will be preserved.
BB BeagleBone: BB CPUs (two-level boards) are not yet supported by the utility and cannot be flashed this way. Only use the SD versions of our firmware.
